Classic Monks v1.2.2 is live. This release has 27 changes: 10 new features, 7 bug fixes, 7 enhancements, and 3 workflow changes.
The big focus this time is Short Links. We rebuilt the entire module: settings save without page reloads with Cmd+S / Ctrl+S keyboard shortcuts, creating and editing short links happens instantly with toast feedback, and the statistics window is redesigned with performance metrics and interactive charts for audience breakdown by country, device, browser, OS, and referrer source.
On the WooCommerce side, shoppers no longer see out-of-stock variations in product dropdowns, so only purchasable options show up. And coupon codes, UTM parameters, and affiliate IDs are now preserved when customers are redirected to checkout after adding a product.
We added a shared AI system prompt that applies across all AI features (text generation, alt text, image creation, image editing) so every output follows your brand voice. AI alt text generation now supports language selection for generating in French, Spanish, German, or any other language.
Other additions in this release:
Assets Manager now tracks inline-only styles (like block theme global styles)
Folder Manager auto-assigns uploads to the selected folder
Bricks Image Compare has a fully draggable slider with horizontal and vertical layouts, working in query loops and components
SVG Image Converter can convert Bricks Icon elements to Image elements and back
IP whitelists support CIDR notation for address ranges
Media folder sidebar stays visible when switching tabs
We also fixed the mobile inspect element guard that was causing blank pages on iPhones, WooCommerce direct checkout losing URL parameters, and Anthropic AI models rejecting certain request formats.
Tested up to WordPress 7.0, WooCommerce 10.9.1, and Bricks Builder 2.3.8.
