Classic Monks v1.2.0 Released: 44 Changes Including Classic AI, Bricks AI Workflows, Live HTML to Bricks & More

Hey everyone,

I’m thrilled to announce that Classic Monks v1.2.0 is now live.

This release has 44 changes total: 17 new features, 10 bug fixes, 7 enhancements, 5 workflow changes, and 5 security hardening updates.

The big news is Classic AI. We’ve built a full AI workspace inside WordPress. It’s not a bolt-on. It actually lives where you work. You can generate Bricks Builder content, batch-create alt text, edit images, and manage AI providers, all without leaving your admin panel.

We also shipped Live HTML to Bricks, which lets you paste HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into a sync panel and convert it straight into Bricks layouts. Our team uses this to port client designs in minutes instead of hours.

Other additions in this release:

  • Form Desk: a unified submissions manager for Bricks and Fluent Forms (previously Form Entries)
  • Code Manager rebuilt with CodeMirror, autocomplete, single-snippet export, and Code Snippets plugin import support
  • Media File Renaming directly from the library
  • Bricks BEM generator, CSS auto-wrapping, smart CSS autocomplete, SVG to image converter, and new WooCommerce dynamic tags
  • Resend and Emailit SMTP providers with retry queue processing
  • Custom login CSS loading and a center-logo toggle
  • URL whitelist support for custom login URLs, so third-party flows like SSO don’t get blocked
  • Option to preserve or strip EXIF metadata in the Image Converter

We also fixed the bug where “disable automatic updates” was accidentally blocking manual plugin updates. Thanks to Vid Tutek for catching that one.

Fully tested with WordPress 6.9.1.
