Adding new media still goes to Uncategorized even though a different folder was selected for uploading to

My last bug report for the day :-).

I have “Show in ‘Add New’ Media screen” enabled in the Interface → Folders. When adding new media, the dropdown is there and I can select a folder to upload to, BUT, every upload still goes to the Uncategorized folder and must be manually moved to the proper folder.

Hi Mike, thanks for reporting I will go through all three bugs you reported and check what’s wrong and release a small fix tomorrow.

May I ask which browser you are using the UI looks terrible, we will try to fix it as well.

I was using google chrome I believe

Earlier “Show in ‘Add New’ Media screen” option only showed the folder selector in the Add new media screen but it has now been improved to persist opened Folder to ‘Add New’ Media screen.
